
And it’s essential to acknowledge that it’s okay to use our phones and screens. So I know this scenario myself familiar to some of us, and definitely me. And I tell myself I go I’m kind of not playing on my phone tonight, I’m going to read my book, and then I suddenly, you know, 10 o’clock, which is my bedtime and I got to put my phone down. And you might even find yourself staying up late at night and able to put your phone down even though you know it’s affecting your sleep. So as the day goes on, you continue to check your phones, scrolling through social media, or watching videos or playing games. And so I pick my phone up and I start looking at notifications and then going Oh, is there anything new on my feed, and then and then minutes hours pass. But I just sit and I must have like a blank space. And my husband makes me very aware of how I’m doing it. And that’s that’s me, I feel like I’ve got this habit. The thought of being away from your phones, as far for former favorites causes you to feel anxious and uneasy. Or you might even have your phone with you during meals or when you’re supposed to be spending time with your family and friends. But every few minutes, you check your phone for new messages or updates. And then finally you get up and you start your day. And then you spend the next hour scrolling through social media feeds and news articles, only to realize you’ve been laying in bed way too long. So have you ever had a day where you wake up and immediately reach for your phone to check on your notifications? You spend the next Yeah, yeah. And I thought, oh my goodness, there’s 100% relate so. And it’s spending too much time on screens and the anxiety and overwhelm it can cause and when I say many of us can relate to 100% talking about myself.Īctually flicks me this Instagram real.
